Neil Goring

Neil joined the practice in 2011 as a Graduate Landscape Architect following completion of his Master’s degree at Edinburgh College of Art. His role within the company is increasingly diverse as he has become involved in a range of hard and soft landscape design projects, historic landscape restorations, landscape & visual impact assessments and specialist visualisations.
Neil’s primary interest within landscape architecture is the opportunity to utilise considered design to achieve a strong sense of place. Through an interest in landscape theory, Neil aims to design from a human perspective, closely connecting the design with the people using the environment.
Outside of being a Graduate Landscape Architect, Neil enjoys travelling around Europe and couples this with a passion for photography. Additionally, from a love of music, Neil can be found playing his guitar or even keeping fit from street-dancing.
