Rosti Turbine LVIA

The Rosti single turbine will provide the adjacent factory with a sustainable supply of energy.

For this project Brindley Associates undertook initial scoping consultation and liaison with statutory consultees and the local authority, and then prepared a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for the proposed turbine.

Our involvement included a review of the potential cumulative effects of the development in combination with other constructed or planned wind farms upon landscape character and visual amenity. Brindley Associates also undertook an assessment of potential effects upon road users due to the turbines proximity to the M74 motorway.

We are delighted that the turbine has received planning approval and that construction will begin in 2010.

What our client says…

“Branna Technical Services are very happy with the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments that Brindley Associates prepare for our wind farm projects and we value the work that they do for us. The overall service provided is very good and we would recommend them to others.”
