Dunbar

Brindley Associates were appointed by Elphinstone Estates and, working in a multi disciplinary team with Turley Associates, EMA and David R Murray, we have contributed to the development of a landscape strategy and masterplan for a proposed 500 unit residential extension to Dunbar.

We have undertaken a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment of the proposed development and created a landscape strategy designed to mitigate the findings of the LVIA; respond to the existing landform; integrate public open space into the housing areas; create a hierarchy of internal spaces and to maximise the biodiversity opportunities and linkages of the site with the broader landscape.

We have developed the landscape strategy into a landscape masterplan for the site and incorporated it into the design statement for the development.
