Joanne Brindley
BA Dip LA CMLI
Joanne is Managing Director of Brindley Associates and a chartered landscape architect with over 23 years experience of the landscape industry. Since setting up Brindley Associates in 1998 Joanne has aquired a wealth of experience through working for a multidisciplinary private practice, local planning authorities and a national house builder. She has a wide range of experience in landscape design, landscape masterplanning for small and large scale mixed use developments and landscape and visual impact assessment. Joanne’s main responsibilities are client contact and business development as well as being lead consultant on large scale landscape projects.
Joanne believes in good design that is practical and fit for purpose, and knows that quality is all about attention to detail. She is an advocate of quick hand drawn sketches to relay information effectively, she encourages her staff to use a pencil rather than a computer to design and insists on keeping the last remaining drawing board in the office.
Outside of the office Joanne supports her husband Andy in his hunting, fishing and shooting pursuits, mainly by eating the end results accompanied by a nice bottle of wine.
