We provided a suite of evidence based landscape masterplanning, stakeholder engagement, photorealistic visualisations and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) to obtain consent for a 30 unit residential development adjacent to the conservation village of Kingsbarns, Fife.
The site was prominent and on the edge of the settlement and we were required to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the council officers that a meaningful development layout, landscape mitigation and materials strategy appropriate to the character of the village was deliverable.
The proposed development has now received planning consent.
Our scope of provided services includes:
- Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA);
- Viewpoint photography;
- Photorealistic visualisations of the development proposals from representative viewpoints;
- GIS mapping and analysis; and
- Landscape mitigation strategy.
