Urban Extension, Slamannan


Brindley Associates have been appointed as part of a design team including Ryden, Fouin & Bell and JDC by M&M Consultancy to prepare a landscape and visual impact assessment for a proposed new area of housing in Slamannan.

We have undertaken a review of competing housing locations with a view to promoting the site through the emerging Local Plan and we have prepared a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment of the site to identify its key constraints and opportunites for development.

As part of our brief we have also created a landscape masterplan strategy for the development, based upon our Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, in consultation with the ecologist and architect.

We have taken the site to Local Plan Inquiry and we are currently awaiting the Reporters decision.
