Karen Hassard

Principal Ecologist

Karen is a Principal Ecologist with over 20 years’ experience in environmental consultancy. Karen is a licensed great crested newt and bat worker with particular experience in bat licensing and delivering mitigation in both urban and rural environments. She is also experienced in undertaking and delivering Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA), phase 1 habitat surveys, UkHab surveys, protected and invasive species surveys and BREEAM assessments.

Karen has had valuable involvement with a wide range of projects from large scale residential and commercial to renewable energy and high-profile linear infrastructure projects. Karen is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).

Christina Harley

GIS & Visualisations Technician

Christina is experienced in the production of a wide range of visualisation types, including architectural CGI visualisation and verified photomontage.

As she has a degree in 3D Computer Animation with Digital Art, Christina is working to expand our services further to provide video and interactive visualisations.

Christina is also competent in the production of GIS mapping and research.

Vicky Hughes

Senior Ecologist

Vicky is senior ecologist with over fifteen years of experience in environmental consultancy. She is experienced in undertaking and delivering PEAs, phase 1 habitat surveys, UKHab surveys, protected and invasive species surveys, and the provision of Ecological chapters for EIAs. She is trained in UKHab survey techniques and Biodiversity Net Gain calculation. Vicky prepares Biodiversity Enhancement Plans and works closely with our landscape architects in the integration of BNG into our landscape design projects in accordance with NPF4.

Vicky has had valuable involvement with a wide range of projects from large scale and commercial to residential and tourism developments. Vicky is a full member of CIEEM.

Ross Wilkie

Managing Director

Ross is Managing Director of Brindley, he is a Chartered Landscape Architect, CIEEM registered Ecologist and has further qualifications in land management.

Ross has over 25 years’ experience of strategic land promotion, landscape masterplanning and detail landscape design for both small and large scale developments throughout the UK. He has experience across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, roads, commercial, industrial and residential developments together with institutional, educational and care home facilities.

Ross’s key interest lies in evidence based design and his key skills include his integrated multidisciplinary approach.

Laura Moore

Finance Director

Laura joined the Brindley team in January 2018. She has brought with her experience gained in Blue Chip organisations covering Manufacturing, Banking, Retail and Service industries. She also has extensive team management experience running Financial and Management services and large Shared Service centres. She is responsible for the HR and Financial aspects of Brindley Associates.

Suzanne Hyde

Associate

Suzanne is a Landscape Architect and a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).

She oversees the production of Landscape Assessment and Strategic Promotion projects.

Suzanne has specialised in LVIA, GIS, data management and development modelling for over 15 years, and is highly experienced in the production of visualisations for a wide range of development scenarios.

Gwilym Barcroft

Senior Landscape Architect

Gwilym is a Landscape Architect and a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).

He has over ten years’ experience in the design of large scale commercial developments, residential landscape layouts and masterplanning townscape appraisals. He also has extensive design and technical expertise working at a range of scales from high-level urban realm design guides to detailed landscape drawings for construction.
